The Fat Stags narrowly lost their first league game of the season on a remarkably sandy pitch at Pinner. A strong performance from Teddington legend Fergus Farrell and Alix 'Monster' Whitehouse made the Stags competitive in the forwards and Stu May had an assured game at Fly Half , but the number of subs the home team were able to draw upon made the difference and they won out by two tries to one. Special mention for Dan Hall for coming all the way back from Newcastle to play and to Keith Bush for a try saving tackle and for slotting a superb conversion.
