However, best laid plans and all that......due to traffic and car parking chaos a last minute re-organisation of the teams was necessary to get seven players on the pitch for the first match at 12 noon!

This team (Teddington 2), with five regular Braves and two “guest” Chiefs, became the Braves for the day.

First up were the hosts, Ealing, and a fantastic end to end match ended in a 6-6 draw, with Braves’ tries from Dylan (3), Cillian, Cosmo and Ben.
After a lengthy break the Braves were quick off the mark against the much feared Rosslyn Park and another titanic battle ended all square with Cillian scoring from the last play of the game. Cosmo, Harry and Teo were the other scorers.

The final match was against a second Ealing side and with the boys tiring in the second half, Ealing finished 7-3 winners. Three more great tries from Ben, Cillian and William.

A fantastic effort from the lads and with a little more luck the two drawn matches could have easily been won. Roll on WLDL Round 3.
