As mentioned at training on Sunday, we will have the first of our Coming of Age Tour fundraising activity on September 17.
We will be providing volunteers for the Richmond Marathon (part of the Richmond Running Festival) so we need everyone to turn out in pairs of parent and child (or multiple parents and children!) in order to fulfill our commitments and secure the donation to the tour funds. There will be no training on September 17.
Activities will include:
• Water Station at Hampton Court (set-up, hand out water to runners, keep area tidy, encourage runners as they pass)
• Water Station at Kingston Bridge (as above)
• Course marshals at various points between Hampton Court and Kingston (point runners in the right direction, help pedestrians cross the course, encourage runners)
Start time will be around 8:00-8:30am. Finish times will vary from around 11:30 to 13:00 depending on location and role.
