Teddington women made it three wins from three games with a hard-fought 10-0 win over Cullompton.

These two sides were extremely evenly matched and in front of a good crowd in the sunshine at Bushy Park, it was clear from the off there wasn't going to be much in this match.

The visitors ran hard in the early exchanges and Teddington's strong defence and scrum held firm despite being tested hard.

Laura Mackay and Olivia Marshall were linking up well in the Antlers back line with Nicole Kwee and Elicia Davies also doing well in attack. Up front Nat Haidari was prominent with her ball carrying as ever while Emma Davis, Anita Velinova and Becci de-Garston Webb were excellent in defence.

Teddington were forced to defend for long periods of the half and it took a well-organised line to keep Cullompton at bay and with no major chances for either side, the first half ended scoreless.

Teddington upped the ante in the second half with Aimee Miller a constant threat both around the fringes and out wide and with Davies continuing to punch holes through the middle.

Finally, Teddington found themselves ten metres from the line thanks to a well-worked lineout with Zoe Feenan prominently involved and with Chloe Halladay making some hard yards in the tight, as she did all day, it was Emma Davis who burrowed over after some excellent darts around the fringes.

Penny Carr was forced off injured having had another fine ball-carrying game but even a reshuffle didn't stop the momentum going with the home side and Antlers continued to pile on the pressure.

A number of scoring chances went begging but it was positive to see a great impact off the bench with Jo Miles, Charlie Veale, Sabrina Rambohul and Zara Dankou all adding something late in the game.

A second score seemed inevitable and it was Miller who grabbed it after a strong run and finished out wide.

Cullompton had to end the game with 14 players having had a player red carded due to an unfortunately timed tackle and Teddington continued to push hard with Michelle Devlin working hard in the scrum alongside Laura Templeman, who carried extremely well, and Jane Wescott making some excellent tackles despite coming to the game after a long flight!!

In the end, they had to settle for a 10-0 win and Teddington will travel to another unbeaten side Plymouth next weekend, a long journey that will surely be followed by a tough match.

Forward of the match this week was Becci de-Garston Webb marking her return from injury with an outstanding game while Laura Mackay was back of the match, after a storming performance in attack and defence.
