U9 at home and on set up!

Hi All,
Happy Half Term holidays!

We are at home this weekend AND it’s the U9 set up.
Jamie McCarthy and James Olsen are the head coaches this week. All helpers please report to them if you need to check what to do. Either come at 8am – to help set up the pitches or assist in running the drinks and breakfast area for a 30 min session from 9.30.
We have 3 helpers for this Sunday so far – Katherine Davey, Will Powel and Martin Bray. MORE HELP IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED!

WE NEED YOU AT THE TEDDINGTON DEVELOPMENT FESTIVAL!
The development festival on the 25th February is the single biggest logistical task for the under 9s age group. It is a brilliantly attended event with around 800 children (and their families) and our age group is responsible for pulling it off.

We have a strong team doing the leg work to plan the pitches, catering, car-parking, risk assessments, first aid, trophies and general running however on the day we cannot pull it off without everyone helping out. We need marshals in the car parks, people to serve bacon butties, teas and coffees, cook and serve at the barbecue, top up loo roll and empty the bins. These jobs need doing simultaneously by many people not relying on a few.

Each age group will be responsible for managing their own refereeing, marking pitches, and game play so that is all in hand. It's the rest of the logistics that we need your help with. Kathryn Kindness is running the car park and Angelica Ventura the catering and they have timetables with slots that must be filled for the event to run smoothly. Please make sure at least one representative from your family is on that list and share looking after each other's children pitch side for the half hour or so that you're needed for your task. If everyone does a little to help (half an hour to an hour) we can make it a huge success for our children and the club.
