Bushy Park 9.30 for a 9.45 start on Number 1 pitch

Saturday 22nd April, Anniversary Ball at the Stoop
- Save the date

Hi everyone

Thank you to everyone who made last Sunday such a great success and for chipping in wherever needed. This Sunday we are back at Bushy park 9.30 for a 9.45 start. Next week is half term however rugby is on usual time and place.

For those of your not on an email earlier in the week I have insert below. If you can help in anyway please let Leon know.

Hi all
For those of you not aware the minis meet once a month to discuss the running of the minis section, club and rugby in general. (next meeting 7th February) It would great if there was increased participation from the U11s this month as there is a lot on we need your help with. If you read further down the thread Julian has included the agenda we normally work through.

Joanne - I have copied you in as I was hoping you might be up for organising a few more off field activities for the U11s other than the Movie night. The key event being the Clubs Celebration Dinner on April 22nd. I am part of a group across both the cricket and rugby clubs working to put this evening on. We are aiming for a minimum of 250 guests with a maximum of 400 being awesome. I would love to see two or three tables from the U11s. We can discuss on Sunday if you have time. All - Is anyone else prepared to assist Jo with selling tickets and being more involved with the event? In summary the event is on Saturday 22nd April at The Stoop Harlequins, welcome drink, three course meal, 1/2 bottle of wine, auction, live band, bar until midnight plus other entertainment for £60 (price subject to confirmation). This is not a typical end of season dinner with awards and speeches. This is a celebration ball.

Socials in General - I've highlighted the events below which are of most interest to the U11s. Is there a volunteer or two to corral our age group into attending some of these? 6 Nations - The club also wants to see a lot more members down for the 6 Nations rather than watching at home or in a pub. Is there anyone prepared to coordinate and organise as many from the U11s for the various matches? This includes the boys turning up to watch. PS - Wales for the Slam ...

Movie Night - Jo is organising but is anyone prepared to cook the food in the kitchen on the evening? I will show you the ropes.

James Rideout - I think you have tour covered, are you able to make the meeting to update the wider audience? I know there is approx 20 of our group who havent responded so do you want help chasing them down?

Dave - I just read your note being away assuming Trump lets you in! Sian - Are you able to make it along and discuss kit shop etc?

COAT Tour - This requires a committee to organise, is there anyone prepared to take this on Mark Gillespie?

Gary - U11s camping, are you able to come along and perhaps share details with the wider minis?

London Irish Festival post curry - Is anyone prepared to organise the U11s curry after the London Irish festival?

As always we are open to suggestions but the key now is spreading the word and a few people prepared to role up their sleeves and make things happen.

Cheers
Leon
