Teddington had no problem in round 2 of the Junior Cup with a comfortable 59-0 win with nine tries in all over Harlequins.

Despite the absence of a number of experienced players, this game was a great opportunity for others to impress and the game began at furious pace with Hollie Blenman scoring just minutes in after the Antlers pack raced up the field.

With Becky Piddlestone and Penny Carr both ball carrying strongly, Zoe Feenan made a big impact with some excellent running lines seeing her contribute to a strong all round continuity game.

The first half brought a raft more tries with Jane Wescott finishing one excellent team move and Jo Mair another while Laura Parry kicked off a hat trick with some very strong running. Rhian Clarkson knocked over five convertions to ensure Teddington were comfortably ahead of the break.

The game broke up a bit more in the second half, with Quins improving in the scrum to put Antlers under a bit more pressure but the tries continued for Laura Semple, Feenan and Aimee Miller with Parry converting two.

Special thanks to Lucy Harrison, Karin Ballantyne, Miram and Emma Davis for their support on the day.

The next round of the cup is likely to be drawn in the New Year with some stiff opposition lying in wait.
