Important information about the forthcoming game against Esher RFC. Please read to find out more.

All Colts Players and Parents

Well done to all the players for a superb game on Sunday. Edwin summed it up rather nicely “Congratulations, well done and thanks for today. A superb achievement getting 20 players together. And how well they played. Up against some very well fed Ruislip boys, our defence was highly commendable. With a ball as slippery as a bar of soap, we played some excellent rugby and with a couple of better decisions, would have won. Great potential going forward for the remainder of the season.”

Thank you to everyone who helped in the kitchen and the wonderful Bolognese prepared by Haydn “Ramsey” Lewis. Full match report available.

The good news is that Ruislip had to give us a walkover in the cup (playing u19s) so we’re through to round 2. This means an away game against Camberley on 14th October. They knocked out Ealing 27-5 so it will be a tough game.

Recruitment

Good to see the new boys playing for us on Sunday. We still need more players so please encourage friends to come along. Roya and Wendy have organised a poster campaign to spread the news. Harrison and Henry are currently in competition to get the most new players this season!

Parents & Coaches Social

Please support one of our key sponsors and come along for a drink at the Rising Sun in Hampton. Thursday 27th. Starts about 7:30 – let’s get a good Colts turnout.

Training

Thursday night. Arrive 18:20 for 18:30 start. We have boys selectively being invited to senior training sessions. This is so our head coach can see the boys in action and target development. Patrick and Henry went along this week. We need permission forms completed for this.

If the weather is really bad Thursday, TC will organise a playbook session in the club house.

Sunday 30th

We have an away game against Esher this week. Kick-off 12:20. Meet at Esher at 11:30. Open to all U17s and U18s.

Car park is likely to full and as such so it might be better to park on the road.

Food will be provided and they have a society referee lined up.

Please confirm availability ASAP. Let us know if anyone needs a lift.
