It's an effortless way to raise funds for the Club and a chance to win some cash every month and it's just £5

It's such a simple idea, but a great way to help raise funds for the club and win some cash too

Many rugby clubs use a ‘100 Club’, or similar device, to raise funds painlessly and regularly to support a variety of projects. Teddington Rugby is no different and we have a successful 100 Club now running into its second season.

What is a 100 (or more) Club?

The basic principle is that of a lottery for 100 or more members of the Club. Each player routinely contributes a set small sum and is allocated a number. There are regular draws, usually monthly, and the first 3 numbers drawn are awarded cash prizes from the pot. The Club retains the remaining monies that go towards the specific project or purpose the Club is trying to raise funds for.

How would the Teddington Rugby scheme work?

Participating members establish a payment of £5 a month, which is simply purchased via the website online payment page (see below). Each month, if there were 100 participants, this would contribute £500 to the club, less the prizes which are to be £75, £50 and £25, plus £25 to the clubs nominated charity of the year (currently Teddington Memorial Hospital), giving a net income of £325 to the club or approx £2500 for the season. If there are more than 100 members participating, the number and size of the prizes would increase, but the club plans to retain approx. 65% of the income. With 24 prizes during the year there is a 1 in 4 chance of recouping most of your stake money if 100 people take part and a 1 in 7 chance of making money… much better odds than the Lottery or other charitable draws.

So what will the funds be used for?

As well as a general contribution to the increased running costs of the club, there are also specific projects we need to think about… such as new Juniors match shirts, improved physio support, Junior Girls kit, better tents and signage for the Minis, better training facilities & hire costs, bar storage etc etc.

Plus we still have phases 5 of the build programme to undertake - improved storage, pathways and fencing and not forgetting the continuing upgrade of our rugby pitches.

So what do I have to do next?

Click HERE and buy the 100 club product

OR go onto the club website ‘online payments section’ go to other payments and buy the 2017/18 100 club product.

OR if you're old school download the standing order form below and send it off to your bank

Once you’ve bought the product it will automatically set up a rolling transfer of £5 per month to Teddington RFC Ltd on the same day of each month. Then just sit back and work out how you’ll spend your prize money! Plus feel good about yourself since you are helping your club be an even better club!

Good Luck
