Harlequins' camps are designed for ages 6-18 and available for all abilities and sizes. Through our fully qualified and vastly experienced coaches, we will give children the opportunity the play the ‘Harlequins Way’. This method of rugby filters through from our 1st XV right through to our grassroots initiatives. Therefore, come along to Harlequins Community Camps this February to develop your skills and techniques and be playing the same brand of exciting and attractive rugby that we see the likes of Chris Robshaw, Mike Brown and Danny Care playing week in, week out.

The main areas training areas covered on the camps are; fundamentals of passing, decision making, the tackle and continuity & these are then all followed by games. With regard to the non-contact age groups they focus on defensive alignment and tagging games during the tackle session. Our grouping is all done prior to the camp and in age correct groups so all coaches know what and who they are delivering too.

Tempo - This is learning to change the tempo of the game by either speeding it up or slowing it down depending on the situation, opposition and scenario.

Ruthless – This is making sure you come out on top by taking your chances, working together as a team and doing everything to the best of your ability.

Unpredictable – This is learning to play what you see and ensuring that you adapt your game to exploit the opposition’s weaknesses, as well as mixing your game up to keep the defence guessing.

Enjoyment – This is a vital strand of rugby which is about creating and building bonds with your team mates, and simply enjoying playing the game.

Each child will receive a free Harlequins gift if they attend all days of the camp.

Please meet our coaches and sign in at the registration point in the DHL Stand entrance.
