The U6's have arranged a 'Comedy Night' at the Turks Head in St Margaret’s on Friday 24th April 2015 at 8pm. This is a club wide event, members and friends are all welcome. 

We have 4 professional comedians arranged for the evening’s entertainment with a fully licensed bar open until 1 am.

Comedians

Jarred Christmas
Is a comedian from New Zealand.  He won the Chortle Comedy Award for ‘Best Compere’ and has appeared on Never Mind the BuzzCocks and Mock of the Week.

Javier Jarquin
Is also a comedian from New Zealand. He Won - The Press Critics Choice Award 'Best National Artist' World Buskers Festival 2012 and is regularly seen on the circuit with Jo Brand, Jimmy Carr and Stuart

Spencer Brown
This is an English comedian, actor and writer from London. His style is surreal and contains elements of slapstick, absurdity and silliness. He is currently presenting The Sexy Ads Show on Fiver/Channel.

Steve Williams
Finalist for the BBC Comedy Awards, a Welshman who has been on McKintyres roadshow, Russell Howard’s good news. He is one of the main writers for Russell Howard’s good news and has just finished supporting him on his arena tours.  Steve Williams is one of the most exciting and electrifying live performers on the circuit. Steve never fails to surprise and engage audiences with his hybrid of bizarre stories.

Tickets are priced at £15 per head and will be sold via Sonia Ross U6’s Social Secretary on Sunday's at training. I am also planning to sell them behind the bar in the club house. We have 200 tickets which I know will sell out fast, so please don't hold back and make your purchase ASAP. Payments can also be made via the website

We will also be holding a raffle to raise money for the club.  These tickets will go on sale prior to the evening. Some amazing prizes have already been donated, 4 tickets in a private box at the O2, signed rugby shirts, handyman services to name only a few. Further donations would be greatly appreciated.
