The Colts secured their 3rd consecutive win to end up topping the Quins Cup table after a strong win against a determined London Irish team. With confidence high after the previous win, the team stuttered in the 1st half as the London Irish team capitalised on a number of mistakes and the odd lucky bounce to take a 5-0 lead into half-time.
However after a rallying call in the half time break, a new, more determined LWT Colts appeared and started to play a much better quality of rugby. The team made the pressure counts and scored a couple of tries in quick succession with a fine individual score by Dan being the pick of them.
The last 10 mins was an intense finale to the game with both teams scoring, it was a time for coolheaded and calm voices. The team stepped up and secured the final score to win a highly eventful game 24-17. Well done!
