Determined to put in a good performance after a run of tough games, the Colts started strongly against an experienced and sizeable visiting team. Early pressure meant that the scoreboard ticked over with the team focusing on playing running rugby and not getting caught up in a physical confrontation.
The team absorbed significant pressure and went into the break only a few point down but the 2nd half saw the team beset by injuries as Fraser had to be withdrawn from the pitch after taking a bad knock and Matty struggling with an injury to his ankle. Despite this the team showed a huge amount of resiliance and staged one of their custom fight-backs only to lose a tightly contested game 31-28.
Credit to the team for their determination and courage, a well deserved rest weekend beckons.
