Our Colts team earned a great result on Sunday against a well organised and determined Barnes Colts XV. Played as the combined London Welsh Teddington (LWT) Colts the team is really starting to flourish at this level and played some excellent open and expansive rugby. Welcoming a few player back from injury it was a strong team that went to Barnes.

It was obvious that this was going to be a close affair from the whistle as both team competed hard for everything. Great to see Aidan returning to the back line and making a real impact by scoring a great try in the 1st half. It was honours even after 35 mins with a score of 12-10 to Barnes at the break.

The 2nd half saw both teams stepping up their game and Barnes stretched their lead and were looking confident going into the final quarter. However the LWT team had other ideas and fought back with two brilliant tres in the last five minutes, the second from Ben scoring under the posts to bring the match back to all square.
