Registration

  • We strongly advise that players and supporters should arrive between 8:45am and 9:30am to ensure that we get the festival off to a prompt start at 10:00am. ·
  • Please ensure the Team Registration Form, sent as a separate file, is completed in advance and handed to the Registration team in the clubhouse by 9.30am or emailed in advance to U7ChobhamRugby@gmail.com.
  • Please send only your Age Group/ Team Manager to collect the pack at registration on the day.
  • Referees briefing will be conducted at 09:30am in.outside the clubhouse by Chaz Heming/Simon Birch our Head Coaches for U7's.
  • The teams will begin playing at 10:00am.
  • First aiders briefing will be conducted at 09:30am just outside the clubhouse
  • ALL TEAMS and REFERREES must be at the correct pitch 5 minutes before kick-off.

Squads
We are expecting 34 squads to be playing on Sunday, which will be made up of:-

Chobham – 10 squads
Teddington – 6 Squads
Reeds – 6 squads
Camberley – 2 squads
Cobham – 6 squads

Each squad has been assigned to a group. There are 6 groups and 6 pitches so, to make it easier for the teams, we have assigned each group to 1 pitch.

Match Schedule
Attached is the schedule of the day as it currently stands based on the numbers above. Each game is allocated 15 minutes. Each game is 5 minutes each way with a 2 minute interval and 3 minutes between games. For injuries on the pitch we will not be stopping the clock unless an ambulance is needed. We will try our hardest to keep to time and would appreciate your help in ensuring every player is ready to go on to their next game promptly.

Referees
We are expecting clubs to supply one referee per squad. If you are unable to provide them please let us know by return. If agreed by the Team Leaders then they can referee if no ref is available on pitch for the match.

First Aiders
We will have first aid facilities on site and are expecting every club to bring a minimum of 1 first aider per team, please include their details on the registration form when returned.

Finish
Pitch 1 & 2 finish at 13:00 with Pitches 3 to 6 finishing at 13:15 – we will finish with a trophy presentation in the central area between the pitches at 13:30, which we hope you can all make.

Refreshments
There will be a BBQ, sweet stall and candy floss stall throughout the morning – we have staggered the teams so everyone should get a chance for lunch. The bar will open around mid-day
