Best performance of the year by Teddington U11 A at Rosslyn Park

This was much more like it! This was about aggressive chasing, ball hunting, team-tackling, ruck winning, do or die defence, feisty running and even (in these wettest of conditions) some good passing down the line.

The boys were unbeaten all day against tough opposition and were very unlucky to miss the final - winning the third place play off against a good touring Newquay team.

Beating Cobham probably gave the dads even more pleasure than the boys - but certainly Cobham weren't expecting aggression like this and looked shell shocked by the end .

Draws against Rosslyn Park at their own Festival and a strong team from Kenilworth who beat all the other teams they played were a great credit to the boys - who were clearly enjoying the momentum and energy of not being beaten.

No individuals need mentioning - it was a great team performance all round and if they can build on this then a day in the rain at Park will be well a turning point this season, as well as surprisingly good fun!
