Teddington Colts v Harrow

Teddington Colts round out the year with a gripping victory.
Teddington Colts were roundly beaten last season in the league deciding game by a skilful and fast Harrow side so they knew going into this game that they would be up against it. With long term injuries and unavailability this year's Colts were mostly a new side with only 4 players having featured in last season's game, Harrow seemed to have a few more returners and started brightly as expected and with an accurate kicking game in particular. However, Teddington matched Harrow for speed and flair and with a resolute defence and a pack that hounded the opposition throughout it was a tight game. Two tries apiece delivered a 12-12 scoreline ( thanks to the rapier like Tobi Dutton) that stuck well into the second half until a Harrow penalty looked like it might decide the game but for another in a series of driving runs by flanker Ciaran O'Brien that tore through the opposition to touch down under the posts in the last minute of time for a 19-15 win that elated the team and supporters. A great unbeaten finish to 2015 and huge promise for the future with this Colts side.
