Teddington ladies have appointed Daniel Chappell as their Strength & Conditioning coach for the upcoming season.

Daniel is a great addition to our team. He is an ambitious coach with very good experience and his drive to improve the strength and conditioning of the team will form a major part of what we want to do this season.
- Head Coach Rupert Deane

Chappell completed a BSC in Health, Exercise & Physical Activity at St Mary’s
University and is about to complete an MSc in Strength and Conditioning at Cardiff Metropolitan University (formerly UWIC).

Last year he was an S&C intern with Bath Rugby, working within the academy structure working on planning, delivery and monitoring of field-based conditioning, weightlifting and speed, agility & plyometrics

He has previously built his experience in S&C roles with Bristol Rugby and Richmond College.

Chappell joins a new-look coaching team for next season with Rupert Deane taking over as Head Coach and Mark Tampin as assistant coach.

The ladies start pre-season training on Thursday 20th July at 7.30pm at Udney Park Road in Teddington.

Head Coach Rupert Deane said: "Daniel is a great addition to our team.
