With the pouring rain stopping just before kick-off, this was an excellent home performance from Teddington.

In tough conditions with the home side outscoring their opponents six tries to one.

Antlers piled on the pressure from the off, setting up camp in the Jersey 22 with some excellent work up front. The platform was set for some quick ball close to the line, with Hollie Blenman holding up two defenders and putting Hannah Fray into space to score her first try for the Club.

Fray was on the scoresheet again not long after when Aimee Miller wrapped around the back and set up her, with the winger powering through to score her second of the match.

On the other wing, Jo Mair was not to be outdone and when her chance to score came, she took it excellently, racing down the right touchline and fending off a number of defenders to dive over in the corner.

Miller then added the fourth as she got on the end of some good hands to touch down, again in the corner. All of the conversions were missed from difficult angles, but Antlers took a healthy 20-0 lead into the break.

With Heather Smith, Laura Semple and Penny Carr all carrying well up front, Antlers used the second half to ensure all of their seven replacements got some valuable gametime.

The bonus point try was secured early when Miller again finished off some nice offloading play, and Rhian Clarkson, then scored with her first touch of the ball, finishing off a quickly tapped penalty from Sarah Edwards.

The game was then unfortunately called up a few minutes early due to an injury to replacement wing Pip Clarke. The player has suffered a broken collar bone and concussion and we wish her all the best in her recovery.

All in all this was Antlers most polished performance of the season and the team go into tougher challenges ahead in a positive fashion.
