We certainly got more out of the game than expected. Some fine performances from the few regular 1st XV players from last season combined with outstanding 1st XV debuts from some of our summer new recruits and a smattering of our older Colts players resulted in a fantastic win and more importantly a battling display of never say day team rugby.
This will give the whole club and especially the 1st and 2nd XV squads a huge boost going into the final pre season friendlies this coming Saturday.
The La Cloche Man of the Match was our hooker Adam Beryy who had an exceptional game., who was chased all the way by Callum Johnston, James Frankenburger and Dara Kane.
Well done to everyone involved and please let Gareth know you're available to play next Saturday 7th Aug.
