The current Teddington Under 15s were denied the chance to experience the club tradition of a “Coming of Age Tour” in their Under 12 season due to COVID. So, it was decided that this year they would have a belated “COAT Tour” to ensure that they did not miss out on this rite of passage.

Over the first weekend of April, over 60 players, coaches and parents made their way down to the south of Spain for the Under 15 tour, trading in the British spring weather for the Costa Brava sun for a few days. Highlights of the weekend included a comprehensive victory over the British School of Barcelona, beach rugby at Lloret de Mar, an afternoon of paintballing (featuring a “direct hit” on the crown jewels of coach Richard Jolly), tour courts, quizzes, and lots of time bonding as a group.

As always, the players were great ambassadors for the club, making memories which will last a lifetime.
