An absurd cycling challenge (aiming to cover 500km in 24 hours non-stop from Geneva to the coast of the Mediterranean on Oct 4th

I have been affected by the refugee crisis and want to honour the courage and stamina of Syrian refugees who seek a new life in the UK by raising money to help them.

To all club members

Hilary Davies has been a member of TRFC for nearly 15 years now with her three sons coming up through the minis. Hilary Davies is also a highly experienced nutritional therapist and psychodynamic counsellor, dedicated to helping her clients to be their absolute best. Further details on her business can be found online.

Hilary is hosting two nights at the club with the first on November 4th and the second February 3rd. Further details to follow on these evenings however please book the dates in your diary now.

Hilary is also volunteering as nutritionist and support driver to 7 chaps who are cycling 500k non stop in 24 hours to raise money for the Syrian refugees. These men are experienced cyclists who have taken on a number of challenges in the past but this is extreme, even for them! They aim to cover the distance in 24 hours non-stop from Geneva to the coast of the Mediterranean on October 4th, 2015). To put that in perspective it is over 5x the London-Brighton ride or London-Paris plus 50km on the end or London-Penzance or London-Carlisle.

It would mean the world to us to receive as much support as possible and could we ask everyone to spread the word for such a worthy cause.

Very many thanks.
Best wishes
Hilary
