An open invitation from our friends over at Ember Tennis Club to their family fun day, why not pop along a give tennis a try

FAMILY AND FRIENDS TENNIS TASTER DAY

The Great British Tennis Weekend is a great way for families and friends to learn about tennis and try it for free in their local area. On Sunday 14th May, Ember Tennis Club, Grove Way, Esher is holding a fun afternoon for all to play tennis in a friendly environment. Tennis is a sport for everyone, and this is a perfect way to try it out for the first time or to return to the game.

The afternoon will run from 12-4pm, with lots of activities and there will be a BBQ (~£5) on offer. We will have lots of fun games for children and adults, mini tennis for under 10’s, and a ball machine. There will also be and top tips from our resident coach and a speed gun to time your serve!

We will have spare rackets – please wear non-marking trainers.

The afternoon will be very relaxed, and we hope everyone, adults and children alike will come along and have a go. If you do want to join, there will be some special offers on the day for junior racquets and coaching courses and don't forget to mention that you're from Teddington Rugby Club.

Ember tennis club is situated in Grove Way, Esher – the entrance is adjacent to number 2, postcode KT10 8HL. More details can be obtained by emailing tennis@embersportsclub.org.uk

We'd also like to thank Teddington volunteer Sue Wells and the committee at Ember Tennis Club for providing a great auction prize for our recent 50th Anniversary Ball
