Teddington women’s head coach Stuart Willis has been named director of women & girls rugby & head coach of Middlesex Women’s Rugby 2019.

It’s great to see Stuart, Johnny and Larissa representing Teddington in the Middlesex senior and U18 coaching teams.

Willis, who also led the squad last year, will take charge of the team ahead of games against Essex, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire alongside his role in leading the Antlers women in Championship 2. He is joined by another Teddington ladies coach Johnny Humphreys who will be taking charge of the senior forwards.

He said: “It is fantastic to continue to be involved with the Middlesex set up. The standard of rugby is continuing to improve year on year and the standard of the girls entering the set up is exceptional. With a great group of coaches joining me again, we hope to build upon what we achieved last year.”

Also joining the women and girls coaching set up this year as Middlesex Under 18’s coach is Teddington and Wasps player Larissa Robinson.

Teddington Director of Rugby Ali Donnelly said: “It’s great to see Stuart, Johnny and Larissa representing Teddington in the Middlesex senior and U18 coaching teams. Over the years a large number of Antlers players have pulled on the Middlesex kit and it’s important for us to keep up that strong link with County Rugby.”
