With preseason just around the corner, the Teddington's women's team have confirmed their new-look coaching set up for next season.

I am very excited about the opportunity to lead the team as head coach this season.
- Stuart Willis

Stuart Willis takes on the head coaching role, bringing a wealth of experience to the position.

A Teddington player himself, Stuart was a former integral part of the Wasps women's set up, guiding the second team to promotion to Championship 1 in 2016. He is also currently the Director of Rugby of Middlesex Women and Girls and works as a community coach with Harlequins.

Joining Stuart as assistant coaches are Jonny Humphreys and Heather Smith. Smith is a current player and has stepped up to support the coaching team on numerous occasions in recent seasons, and she will play a key role in this more formal position while carrying on playing.

Humphreys joins from Staines where he was the assistant coach for the senior me';s team and has also worked alongside Willis at Middlesex where he is a senior coach.  He works at Harlequins as a community coach.

The team are supported by Steph Giles who will continue her coaching and management role with the Teddington women's development team.

Former head coach Ali Donnelly continues on as overall Director of Rugby while Sarah Edwards remains the Women's Chair. Zoe Feenan is captain once again this season.

Andy Scott also joins as a fitness coach, beginning his work in pre-season.  Andy worked at Kingston Colleges Academy working in women's football and gymnastics and also has strong Harlequins ties, working as a fitness coach for the men's amateurs.

Stuart Willis said: "I am very excited about the opportunity to lead the team as head coach this season. The team has gone through a lot of change in the past year or so and the work this year is about building on our position in Championship 2 and building the depth of the squad at the same time. We have assembled an experienced and positive coaching team and we can't wait to get going."
