Teddington RFC Mini's - week 2

Dear Antler-
This Sunday is our 2nd session of the season. Hopefully everyone who made it down last weekend had a great time in the sunshine. You will see a significant change this weekend when you arrive. We now have both rugby pitches available but have lost part of the cricket outfield. This is because we have started a much overdue renovation of this area to make sure it is a great playing space for both cricket and rugby for many seasons to come. We will experiment with how best to use the space over the next few weeks – please be patient whilst we work this out.

A few things to remember:
1. Training for all age groups starts @ 0945 on Sunday. Given the changes to pitches / space please watch out for an update from your age group in terms of where you are.

2. If you haven’t already done so, please can you make sure you have properly registered and paid for this season. It’s also important that all your contact details are up to date. Family Membership is £165 with Additional Player Membership @ £80.

One watch out – the Pitchero registration and payment process has changed from last season. Family Membership is for up to 2 adults and 1 child. Any additional children need to be registered via the Additional Player Membership product

3. The kit shop will be open from 0930-1030. Please bring cash or even cheques – it is much easier for us. All other kit is available from the Raging Bull website.

4. If you want a custom-made gum shield for the season, Opro will be at the clubhouse both this Sunday and the following for fittings – this year we have designed club branded one. Fittings take 5 mins – just pop in.

5. The introduction of the Teddington RFC key rings to reward those demonstrated the TREDS values appeared to go well across the age groups supported by the Kids First materials that we handed out. Please take 5 mins to explain to your children our rugby values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship so that they can better understand what we are trying to achieve.

Sunday 16th is our start of season welcome BBQ – please make sure it’s in your diary.
James.
