Yet again it was great to see Bushy Park active with all age groups having fun last Sunday. The work on the cricket area didn’t seem to cause too much of a problem so we have allocated the space the same way this weekend.
This weekend is a great day in our rugby calendar and there is a lot going on so please join us beyond just the normal training session.
If this is your first season with us at Bushy Park or you are returning after the summer I would like to invite you to a “Welcome” meeting in the clubhouse @ 1100 this Sunday. This is an opportunity for you to hear a little more about the philosophy of the club, how we operate and meet a few more of the people who keep the club going. Simon Davis, the club chairman will be joining us as well as Kevin Day, youth chairman and the safe guarding and first aid teams. It will take about 20-25 mins.
We also have the start of season Welcome BBQ after training as well as a Beer Festival with a selection of six ales from Twickenham Brewery. It would be fantastic if you can stay and join us for a drink and a burger in the sunshine. Thanks in advance to everyone across the age groups who has volunteered to help make this a success.
It’s the last chance to get a mouth guard professionally fitted by our partners Opro at the clubhouse. Also, take advantage of the kit shop before many of our age groups start playing festivals and West London League fixtures over the next few weeks.
If you really want to make a day of it then there are two Juniors matches on in the afternoon to watch.
Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday
