Teddington RFC Mini's - start of the season on Sunday 2nd September

Dear Antler-
This coming Sunday sees the start of the rugby season at Teddington RFC. It’s been a great summer at the club with upgrades to our pitches and clubhouse facilities yet for many the highlight for many was the visit of the three England players to the club as part of the NatWest Rugby Force initiative.
Also a few lucky age groups were also invited to participate in an England training session at The Lensbury which was filmed and will be used to produce coaching materials as part of a national RFU campaign. Both opportunities are great recognition for the club from the RFU and their partners.
For those who are new to the club and those who are returning, it’s fantastic to have you part of the Teddington RFC family. Thanks to everyone who completed the end of season survey – we have listened and made changes to reflect your feedback.
A few things to remember:
1. Training for all age groups starts @ 0945 on Sunday. All age groups are at Bushy Park on Sunday so it will be a busy but fun start to the season.
2. If you haven’t already done so, please can you make sure you have properly registered and paid for this season. It’s also important that all your contact details are up to date. Family Membership is £165 with Additional Player Membership @ £80

3. No doubt many of our mini’s player will have grown in size and stature over the summer, if you need new shorts, socks or a club shirt then the kit shop will be open from 0930-1030. Please bring cash – it is much easier for us. All other kit is available from the Raging Bull website.
4. For U9s and above, gum shields are required; if you want a custom-made gum shield for the season, Opro will be at the clubhouse on 9th & 16th September for fittings – this year we have designed club branded one.
5. Rugby is an amazing game, defined by the values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. They are fundamental to our club philosophy at Teddington RFC and this season we are introducing weekly awards to our players who demonstrate these values.
See you on Sunday
James
