As we enter the festive period I thought it worth sharing a summary of what’s going on beside the rugby within the Mini’s section at the club over the next few weeks, particularly on Sunday 17th (our final training session of the year)
It’s been great to see so many new faces at the club this season and I hope that everyone is enjoying their rugby. As a volunteer based club we rely on everyone giving a little of their time over the season to keep everything running so please continue to help wherever you can.
I’ve also seen a few emails this week about parental responsibilities, as a club we take all safeguarding matters very seriously and please remember during any rugby session, YOUR child remains YOUR responsibility.
3 things to remember for the 17th
1. On the 17th it is your opportunity to pick up any tickets you have ordered for Harlequins BG10 @ Twickenham. The game at the weekend against Saracens was hopefully a pre-curser to a fantastic match against Northampton and we have sold hover 550 tickets through the club. It’s a great opportunity for the Teddington RFC army to make some noise!
2. For those who have booked to go on the Mini’s tour next year (nearly 400 of us are going) we have arranged for samples of the different hoodie sizes to be available at the clubhouse to try on before you place your order in the New Year.
3. We will be organising a Hog Roast at the clubhouse after Mini’s training so please do join us for some food and a bite to eat. All age groups are at home and there are also a Juniors match kicking off @1200 so do stay and support them.
Finally, if we don’t have a chance to catch up over the next few weeks, on behalf of the club I’d like to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas break.
