The Annual Antlers Crinkly Corner Charity Challenge is off & running. Please support them and this years wonderful cause 'Help for Heroes'

Our fabulous bunch of ageing ex Antlers rugby players are lovingly known as our Crinkly Corner and although they may all be 60+ have a longstanding love of drinking beer in the clubhouse, talking cobblers about the old days, but more importantly putting themselves through the pain barrier every year for a good cause. They are now in their 11th year of annual challenges for charity and their past challenges include rowing the Thames, in both directions, cycling from London to Paris, canoeing the river Severn, Canoeing the Ebro River in Spain, rowing the Caledonian Canal in Scotland and walking the Northern Cornish Coastal Path. They have so far raised over £40,000 for good causes and this year they need your support to push the total even higher.

This week they are pushing the limits of geriatric exertion for another great cause - 'Help for Heroes' and they are tackling the arduous, but picturesque Southern Cornish Coastal Path from Porthleven to Fowey, a distance of some 120 miles. They are due to finish on Friday 17th June. They are currently being battered by the wind and rain and taking shelter whenever they can in local hostelries, where we imagine they are refuelling on real ale and pasties.

The boys are asking for your help and support by making a donation via their Justgiving page where every penny raised goes to Help for Heroes.
