In their 30th season, Teddington will celebrate women and girls rugby with a free taster session for all ages on Sunday, November 6th at Bushy Park.

At this exciting 'Pitch Up and Play Session'. there are three introductory sessions to choose from with a number of England's women's rugby stars on hand to coach this fun-filled morning.

For minis (aged 6-11) the one-hour session will run at 10am; for Juniors (aged 11-18) the session is at 11am and for anyone over 18 the session is at midday.

These sessions are open to all abilities and the key focus is on encouraging new players into the sport with an enjoyable, informative session, whether you are brand new to rugby, a sofa supporter or a returning player.

Teddington's mission is to get more women and girls playing rugby and not let the barriers of experience (or initial fitness levels!) put people off from attending their first training session. The club boasts a senior XV, development and girls set-up so there is something for everyone!

Our development team has a great track record of introducing women to the sport and taking them from their first session, to their first full game (with some even making the move to the First XV!) and our girls set up is becoming more and more popular.

This open event means no experience is necessary! The sessions will be fun, focused on introducing all age groups to core rugby skills such as passing, kicking and early stages of contacts.
