First aid refresher course

Did you know the AED is behind the bar? Did you also know any first aid incidents should be captured and stored on forms located behind the bar?
TRFC held the first of a new style refresher first aid course last Tuesday at the clubhouse with all 18 first-aiders completing it successfully.
Over the course of three hours the first aiders covered
- Automated External Defibrillation
- Adult & Paediatric Basic Life Support
- Recognition and treatment of:
- Head & Spinal Injuries
- Choking & Anaphylaxis +
- the Administration of The Epi-Pen and Ana-Pen & Jext.
Well done to everyone on the course.
There are limited spaces remaining on courses for new first-aiders this Saturday 22nd November at the Lensbury and another refresher on the evening of Tuesday January 13th.
