Once again a group of ex Teddington players and supporters are challenging themselves for a great local charity

From 28th June to 5th July a group of mature ex-players from the club (ok...OLD) are rowing up the Thames from Richmond to the rivers source near Lechlade. This is the 10th year of challenges for charity that the Old Crinklies of Teddington Antlers RFC have taken on. They began their annual feats of daring do 10 years ago, when they rowed down the Thames for the Shooting Star Trust. So it seems appropriate that on their 10th anniversary they are going to row the Thames again, but this time the harder way - upstream!!! But for the same fantastic charity The Shooting Star Chase Childrens Hospice

Since they began 10 years ago the Crinklies have raised over £35,000 for various good causes. The challenges have included;

  • cycling to Paris,
  • cycling the Picos Europa, Spain
  • canoeing the river Severn, Wales & England
  • rowing the Shannon, Ireland
  • rowing the Rio Ebro, Spain,
  • rowing the Great Glen, Scotland
  • rowing across the Danish Baltic
  • Walking 100 miles of the Cornish Coastal Path.

Please support the boys and make a donation to a very worthy local charity and help them reach a total overall target of £40,000 raised over the 10 years.
